So I just purchased my second celica. 1995 convertible, 154, 000 miles. Changed the oil today, by myself. Used Mobil 1 high mileage oil, per your advice. Is there any other maintenance I need to do? Or problems I need to look for? The timing belt and water pump have been changed. She seems to be "loose" in the front end. Handles great, but there is a popping noise when I turn? Any ideas?

Did you check the axles boot? They can be broken.
If the car is running good with no leaks i only would worry about filters.
I would change the fuel filter just in case, it could be very dirty and fuel is not flowing well
Check intake filter. Gotta make sure it sucks good amount of clean air
I think thats all if it is running good..

The intake filter is new. Where is the fuel filter?

If you are standing in frront of the car it should be on the right side, close to the power steering,it looks like a small can of soda, but Little smaller and is black. If you do that you wil need to open the gas door and cap to release pressure from the lines and it would be better to do it when you have low gas.
Reason for doing is that our cars are almost 20 years old and the gas tank could be a little rusted and all that rust and dirt could be in the.filter blocking the fuel.

Auto or manual trans? If auto, change the tranny fluid and filter. Double check the axles to make sure the boots aren't ripped, that could be the cause of the popping. It could also be a worn out bushing, but check out the axles first since they are easier.

Google helps if you don't know how to identify something or locate something.
I suggest doing the routine of AutoRx as I had amazing results from it. But at 154k, your car is basically brand new.
How are the plugs??

Plugs are good, brand new and I found the fuel filter, Thanks!

You are not supposed to change fuel filter on those cars, it is made so that it should work all the car's lifetime.

Toyota probably will tell you this if you try to buy a new one from them.

If you got a lot of dirt in the fuel tank I might consider it, but if not, I would just keep it as it is.

It is pretty easy to change out.

Though it may have been built to last the lifetime of the vehicle, the vehicle has lasted longer then the proposed lifetime of said fuel filter and needs changing.

I've changed both out on mine, and have had pleasant results each time. Old cars collect gunk..everywhere in & out.

Well i replaced my fuel filter when i replaced the fuel pump and the filter was full of crap + stuck. And the car had 105,xxx so i dont think these filters last for ever.
