Well no, because it's not an emblem, you see, it's an embelm.

Somebody doesn't know the difference between a dragon and a pegasus -- or else those are the horsiest-looking dragon silhouettes I've ever seen.
^lol same thoughts.

Cool looking nonetheless.

If i stuck TRD on my slippers, would you buy it off me for $500? It's a one and only. smile.gif
a good rule to follow on ebay, especially pertaining to "TRD" and Celica stuff:

"If it's cheap, it's not real."

probably true 95% of the time.

Hahaha. Yea. True that. But does anyone have any idea of other Toyota related emblems that I can add onto my grill? I currently have the ssiii one on but I don't really want it because I don't like having stuff on my car that I don't really have. My Celica is a GT trim not a SSiii trim. It's a pet peeve.

I was actually looking into that but it's a "stick on" emblem. I want it on my OEM grille. Like how the ssiii emblem is. Where it has something to secure it to the grill instead of just the adhesive.

That and if it ships from China, of all places. laugh.gif

Find one of those.

That's what I'm looking for but can't seem to find any. I'm pretty sure the only way I'ma get it done is to just buy the emblem and add on some way to secure it to the grill but I don't have any ideas besides drilling holes and using ZipTies.

Sure some should pop up on eBay every now and then.

Found some.

If you want two: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-TOYOTA-CELICA-...f3f&vxp=mtr

If want just one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CELICA-OLD-SCHOOL-...tr#ht_767wt_138

They have two pegs on the back of them for inserting into a grill, like the picture I posted earlier. Rather or not the pegs will work with your grille, who knows.

Here's the best deal I've found: http://www.ebay.com/itm/71-72-TOYOTA-CELIC...d35&vxp=mtr

Yea I knew they had the pegs but it's just pegs. It's there so you can shave off to level it with the surface. There's no way to get it to attatch to my OEM grill. Only way is ziptieng. But that'll mean drilling holes into the dragon. The pegs are way too small to drill holes for zipties.

Epoxy on the pegs to hold against the back side of the grill.
Hmm, sure there is some way to get it to work. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Yea that's what I was told to but I don't want to put anything permanent on it because I'm trying my best to keep my car as OEM as possible with as lil mods as possible. If you get what I mean? Like I don't mind having something to hold it securely but I don't want to use any kind of adhesive or glue.

Sure something could be figured out without glue or epoxy. Like some kind of tight fitting rubber stopper to hold it in place.

Or use epoxy on the back of the emblem to create loops or hooks, then use a zip tie to hold the emblem to the grill.

My original suggestion was to use the epoxy so that it attached at the back side of the grill. Then if you wanted to take the emblem off, you could cut/sand the epoxy off and whatever was left would be concealed behind the grill

That's right. Never thought of that. Going to have to give it a try now. Lol.
