I picked up some info from alltrac.net and it says there that:

There are plenty of upgrades available right within our own vehicle lineup. Here is a quick version of what is known to work for us.
JZA80 = 1993-1998 Supra TT
MA70 = 1987-1992 Supra Turbo
SW20 = 1991-1995 MR2 Turbo

So do the Supra parts really line up? I never expected them to, so I decided to ask around here. And I'm pretty sure this is only for the 3s-gte ... since it is alltrac.net and well alltracs are 3s-gte.

if your talking about the exhuast/intake manifold lining up onto the 3s I really dont think it's gonna fly man - inline 6 to inline 4 leaves your two extra ports, you could swap the turbos yea but whats the point? mr2 and mk3 are the same turbo

alot of the parts off of the MR2 is gonna go fine onto a 185 3s. and I could see some, not many but some, parts off the supras working.

but who knows.. If people are doing it then maybe it will work >>

Actually they are not the same turbo the MK3 turbo is a little different even though they share the same name - a common upgrade is to take 1/2 of the MK3 turbo and the mount points from the MR2 Turbo and make a hybrid turbo - with a little tweaking to the turbine vanes you get some good power...

True, I think the MKIII has a CT26 single entry, while the SW20 sports the CT26b, twin entry. There are a lot of sensors that are interchangable between the MKIII and the SW20, however they are two very different engines.

Thanks for the backup info. I didn't think parts would line up like that ... since the Celica and Supra are not much alike. I just read that and it made me wonder, so I asked here.

ya know... the dual entry thing is a little misleading... its just a way to smooth out the exhuast pulses.. who has said the Supra turbo is not dual entry?

But you have to use a hybrid turbo becuase the bolt pattern on the supra turbo is different so you have to used the exhaust half of the CT26 from the 3SGTE.
