I think it sounds sweet...not a huge backfire but just alittle choke as it revs down...i love that sound
i take my firts statement back i have the cat still but no muffler
My car has a flame in the muffler in high rpms

yup backfire is nice but sucks when your next to a cop.
i removed both the cat and resonator and added a Apexi N1 muffler with an OBX 4-2-1 header and damn is that loud and the back fire is just as loud. >

i have a 2 inch pipe from the cat back no muffler does the same sounds a lot like an srt4 they come from the factory with no muffler.
what if you had no cats, straight pipe, and a rev limiter....POP POP flames....hehe
