Hey guys I figured id ask you here regarding my fiance 2002 camry. It started to shake under load so I looked up the code it was throwing and it came up as misfire on cylinder1. I changed the spark plugs and it help but still threw the code. So i then switched the ignition coil from cylinder 1 to cylinder 2. After this a possible code came up as missfire on cylinder 2. Am I right in saying that we need to replace the ignition coil ifrom cylinder 1?

Also is there anyone on here who lives in the Boston area. Just trying to find a good guy my wife to be and inlaws can go to for their toyotas.

She already did it but the check engine light is still on. Guess the car is running good again though. Any reason for this?

Take it to get the CEL cleared.

Or leave the battery unplugged for about 10 minutes.

I doubt she is going to get in and unhook the battery.

If she changed the coil, unplugging a battery is nothing.

Im just going to clear the code for her. Gotta love OBDII Bluetooth plug is and torque pro app lol
