as the tittle says saw a friend who did this. you just need to cut the dash a little bit to fit the radio because the tc radio is a bit wider but the harness is plug and play.
i think is a good upgrade. the tc radio is newer and have AUX and you can find those cheap.
i wont do this but some people might be interested on this!

's actually a nice option, that; if it didn't say Scion, it could appear genuinely stock.

that second pic radio looks like the beginning scion radio and the 1st pic looks like the newer one i like the scion tc cause they have a piece you can hide your radio with. always wished they made an aftermarket cover!
Good call, Zach. I totally got the pictures out if order. The 1st and 3rd pics are the same radio, 2nd and 4th are the same. I don't feel like editing the post from my phone to rearrange them.

oh your fine, just iocase someone wanted to know what year models they were. i remember when i had my last celica i always wnated to put the tc radio in my car. imo i love the first gen scion tc's now they are starting to look like honda civics.
they are not an exact fit. because its a little wider than your regular double din.
meaning you have to cut the radio bezel,or install the radio crooked, or a alittle backed up.

Haha this is really funny I thought I would be the only one to try this but I have the 2011 scion xb head unit in my car its great I love it and the best part is it is pushing rockford fosgate t1's like a champ really clear until about 55 but it works awesome just had to cut the center bezel a lot
I would attempt this if I didn't have the stock deck already. Lol. I love the stock deck. It's so GENUINE! XD
