>I have had my celica for about 2 years now, but the original owner told me it hasn't had an engine swap or anything. I am wanting to see what people have reached in total number of miles on their engine.

Mine is currently at 317,310 miles on the original engine.

I have 287100 on the original engine.

My 1998 1.8i ST 7AFE has only done 109.000 miles (175.000km). No oil or coolant burning at all. Only to my (2500 miles) trip to Italy, where she had to work pretty hard in the mountains she burned about 0,4 litres of oil. After that as good as nothing anymore.

I'm very pleased with that, especially when i hear lot's of people talking about the oil consumption of the 7AFE. biggrin.gif

210k miles, No leaks, burning, ticking, or otherwise. it scares me how far this car might go before exploding and I'm not sure I wanna drive it that long LOL. but averaging 35k a year with this new job will sort that out quickly
i'm sitting on 204,000 miles on original engine
