Heres the deal. When I turned 16 my parents didnt give me a car, and after 3 years of saving I bought my 1996 25th anniv. celica st. Well my sister got a car for her birthday and i guess the parents feel bad so they asked me what they could do for me. I told them buy me an engine and of coarse I wanted the 3sgte but then I found a brand new Beams 3sge, no miles brand spankin new. I know the 3sgte has the power but the beams is so pretty and practically no one has it. What would you do, and dont forget I dont have to pay anything.
hey brand new beam engine i say go for it...

yea but i think he could tell the difference between a BEAMS 3SGE and a BEAMS 2jzge. id say either way you go you will be happy with the result. though the 3sge would require less maintanence. just make sure you have a place to go to get it done, otherwise you are in for a headache.

Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them allNo but I don't buy itLike anything you do, as anyone you areCause I'm...Ten Speed, of God's Blood & Burial

How much is the beams motor. A 3sgte swap will cost your parents $4500 for motor and all parts. I'm guessing that the 3s-ge will cost more, because you will still need all of the parts from the GT to make it work. Either way, you'll need more than just hte motor to make it work.
