Ok, i sold my in-dash to buy a CD player for my Celica. I don't have one for it at the moment. My girl complains that she wants to listen to music while she drives it (her car is down for a week or so). She doesn't want to listed to the exhaust, which brings up point #2. I have a couple exhaust leaks and my gaskets for the header suck balls. I was gonna gather some money to get that fixed.

Which should i do??
Fix my car or get the CD player??

what I would recommend is learn the lyrics to her fav song and sing it to her

that's a good way to get some even if you don't sing well...she'll think it's sweet that you tried...I say fix the car as well...give her your cd player or just sing...when someone stole my cd player (i should be ashamed to admit this), i put my portable in the car and hooked it to my home stero speaker...it did the job for a few weeks...just don't let your friends see ya with it

fix the car....and if you have a battery operated boom box you could use that for a while till you get a cd player.. >>

fix the car, and get her a walk-man. w00t. heh, but seriously, fix the car. header and exhaust leaks not only sound bad, but they also kill performance, and leak out a mass amount of carbon monoxide. so just tell her that it's for her own safety, to keep those fumes comin out the ass of the car, and not under and infront of her so it can get in the vents. then, like i said. a walk-man would be choice. >>
