Midwest Meet, Spring '13! - 6G Celicas Forums

When: May 18th, 2013.
Where: The usual spot.
Attending:
1. Chris and Stacy - puppy chow, propane, guac?
2. Daniel and Brigette - BBQ Burgers

6. Devin - Propane Grill
7. Luke and Maggie
8. Jordan (and Erin?)
9. Chee La and Mai See (+1) - things to grab food with and things to put food on as well as some sort of pastry/dessert goodness.
10. Shig and Ting Ting
11. Manda and Justin?????? - epic cookie cake thing
12. Joe - 12 Pk. of Coke and Water Bottles (nice for hike)
13. Sean - Burger Buns
14. Dalton - 12 Pk. of Dew
15. Ben

I didn't make it since I wasn't sure if that drift event/car show was going to be the spring meet. I'd say April, March is pretty cold still and may is too close to the summer.

I say may. Hopefully by then I'm hired in and can make a trip out and celebrate our anniversary. Plus it gives Kurt more time to work on the Celica.

April is gonna be tough for us. The Dragon run is the weekend of the 26th, and we usually leave the Friday before, so both the 20-21 and 27-28 are out for us.

I'll be in Florida from march 9th to the 19th, so the two middle weekends are out for me of that month. maybe a may meet would be better, that way it wont be freezing like last year.

Instead of a Spring, Summer, and Fall meet, we could always just do a May meet and a Summer/Fall meet. I've got 48 hours of vacation time to burn up before sometime in April, so I'm good for any date we end up setting.

First 2 weekends of April Sam and I will be headed to and from FL so we'd be out those dates

I think peewee has made it to be our little Celica man. Kurt has one of the calendars hanging up in our kitchen and the other day he asked me where daddy was. I told him out in the garage getting a part off the car (yellow celica) and he turned and looked at me and said so he can make it like that celica.... lol pointing at the calendar .... i couldnt stop laughing but i managed to get out " yeah bub just like that one".

frown.gif Gonna miss it this day too. One of my sister's college graduation is that day and she's throwing her party right after the ceremony since her birthday is the following day. Damnit.

Little difficult to do since she's gotta be in her ceremony and at her party. I think people might wonder why they were there if she weren't
