>>WHAT?!!!>>

hahha. to each his own I guess. I love my TOM's lip.
seems like a fairly easy thing to do. buy garden liner, cut it up and slap it on.
a few members have done it before. you gonna leave it black or color match it?
not sure how well it holds paint.

You just need a utility knife, a pair of scissors, double-sided tape and a rivet gun.

Hahah. I know. I love my TOM's lip a lot but recently my brother cracked it. Mine is a replica btw. So I've been looking for alternatives for future references. I was thinking of color matching it or spray gunmetal instead of silver. Lol.

Kind of thought so. Seems simple enough. It's just the matter of getting the riveting gun and drill.

It's not cracked bad but it has a crack from the bottom. Which was from my brother. Also has two cracks on the upper part where it snugs onto the middle part of the bumper. Probably from an off casting. I'm waiting until next year when I take my car into the body shop for paint job. That's when I'll decide if I want repair my front lip and keep it or just go with the home depot method. If I ever do decided on going with the home depot then I'll let you know. Lol.

Pop rivets! Easy and cheap.

I kind of like this lip, may be a cheap easy solution til I get a facelift, fenders, and splitters.

Yea. I think they'll look very dull and flat. Not as sharp and glossy as my toms lip.

Hahaha. That's right. Spray some tire shine on it and it should be fine. Hahah.

i think the shape it creates on the bumper looks great, but it would look alot better if it were actually molded and painted.
but that would defeat the purpose of a cheap front lip at that point

Just a question, rather than goin the cheap route why not just wait and save for the parts u actually want? Money spent on this lip could be saved and put toward the better purchase IMO.

At least for the garden liner itself it's 7 bucks.

Because I'm a sucker for cheap fixes while I save up the obscene amount of money to do it right. 15 bucks doesn't set me back to far, anything over 50 I won't try usually =P
