So my cruise control used to work fine but recently when I try and set it to a speed, the cruise light just blinks and won't engage at all and if I turn it off and try turning it back on it continues to blink, any ideas of what might be the issue?

I've had this happen a few times on my car. As for me the adjustment on my brake light switch on the brake pedal was not correct. And under the hood at the diagnosis connector there is a pin you can jump to see if there are any dtc's stored in the cruise system. Not sure which ones though... Hope this helps.
