You mean you need the pocket to sit underneath the single din radio? The stock DIN pocket looks the best, mounts nicely with a single DIN radio, and only costs like $30 brand new from Toyota.

I've seen a couple of Celicas with a certain single din mounting kit where the pocket is above the radio. I want that space there for a panel for 3 gauges. I don't feel like drilling through my perfectly fine dash for the gauge wires.

So that's part of the whole trim that goes around the a/c vents as well?

EDIT: Answered my own question, and no, it's bolted into the frame behind it, not attached to the trim piece.
