That looks frightening biggrin.gif

Definitely not for me, as I usually leave the music too loud as I exit the car, and have a heart attack next time I turn the ignition... This would probably put me in a coma biggrin.gif

Holy ****snacks, I didn't think you'd be facing it forward. That's a lot of bass cannon.

I guess nobody else likes bass cannon? I like bass cannon, nice stitching.

Now the real question is...what's the first song you'll try on it? I suppose not a very bassy one, or at least very low volume, since the sub has to break in.

The so called "break in" is a myth. I will straight out max it out, it won't get damaged. The only break in that is going to happen is with play and time, the subwoofer will loosen up as it's factory stiff.

Bone Crusher - Grippin The Grain(Chopped And Screwed) is going to be the song. smile.gif

Thanks, Jason. smile.gif

Wired the subwoofer terminals from the outside. Copper ring terminal, pressed, soldered and heatshrink wrapped.

Pretty much done with the big trim panels.

Made the amp rack from wood, upholstered and attacked to the cage, then placed the amp. It's temporary place will be there until I get another amplifier for my front stage.

Let's say it's pretty effing loud biggrin.gif
My head still hurts, but it was so worth it. That's what happens when I don't listen to bass for 3 months tho. I need a few more days to readjust.

nice job mate.

I noticed a gas balloon on your celica. Is your celi working on a gas?

I still can't imagine the immense pressure wave right by your dome. I don't mind feeling bass and hearing it, but that must be pain-inducing at times.

Thanks, mate.

Yes, the Celica runs on LPG. Much cheaper.

I had a bad headache the first day which I slept over and was fine. But I sold my 12" , so I didn't have any bass for ~3 months, the body 'forgets'. No more pain tho, I got used to it. Sometimes it's hard to breathe, your eyeballs vibrate, your eardrums feel like something is pushing them, but all in all, it's awesome.
Not to mention the look on people's face > redface.gif WTF

My new gauge cluster. 20 different colors controlled via a remote. Red needles. Redline stays red no matter the color. Adjustable brightness.

I just put 1 12" in my car, and it is way too much at full tilt. I can only imagine how loud your setup is.

Thanks, man.

I had a 12", but it was not enough (for me at least) and I decided to skip all the middle stuff and go big. smile.gif

Neat, neat stuff. That cluster is something I've always wanted, I don't stand for blatant imitation but that setup reminds of the 911, and that's just not necessarily a wrong thing. Celica is a sports car.

did you use RGB led strips or something? well played man very nice job. are you going to be selling this "mod" ?

"whoever said progress was a slow process... was probably talking about me"
It'd be really cool, and distracting, if there was a cycle mode for the colours.

Yes.
And I've already sold two modified clusters.

There is cycle, it can be set to low speed, but it's not distracting as I am more focused on not killing anybody driving one ton of metal and what not. wink.gif

i take it ur using this controller?

out of curiosity where did u mount the receiver? or are u using the newer slim version?

how much u selling for? (for future reference. more interested in the bezel atm)

"whoever said progress was a slow process... was probably talking about me"
$100 shipped back to you for 20 color, $80 for dual color (digits+needles). Shipping your cluster to me is on you.

Using slim, everything is nice and cozy inside, simple plug and play.

I'd be busy oohing and ahhing at the colours. tongue.gif My radio can cycle colours in time with music, terribly distracting at night.
