Hi all, i hope some one can help .
Have a 1995 celica gt that plays up on starting, majority of time its ok but then will go out in the morning and it will pop and backfire on start .
It takes for ages to fire up popping and going . Once started its ok until i go down the road and turn the ignition off and say go to a shop, when i try starting again its popping and going and sometimes drains the battery so have to jump it even then with a jump it can take a while to start. All though the cold weather i didn't have a problem so don't know if that was just luck.
Any help would be welcome.

Heres some things to check:

fuel quality
sparkplugs
water temp circuit
idle speed control valve
throttle body position sensor

When did you start noticing these issues happening? has the timing belt recently been done or any other work? Do you only have issues at start up? Whats it like driving around normally?
