My radiator popped a while ago and when my car was about to get towed they had to jump start it to get it running. After I got it back, the battery indicator was flashing every now and then so I replaced my battery and it stopped flashing for a bit, but then ended up flashing more frequently than before. Come since yesterday its been constantly on and today while I was driving my radio stopped and all my lights went dimmer. Upon getting home the battery was askew....the plastic stand he set it on wasn't secure enough and the battery was tilted. Do you think this could just be the batt or is it probably the alternator?
Either way, the battery was just replaced and I should have them give me a fresh one now right?
I would say your alternator is on the way out. If its not recharging your battery properly, the battery light comes on and you get all the signs and symptoms of a dead battery.

Were there hold downs on the battery? Sounds like an alternator to me, but if there wasn't a hold down, the terminal clamps could be moving around causing connection issues.

if the battery light is on, the alternator is not charging. if its flickering, then its failing or a connection is loose

thanks for the info. im probably going to end up buying an alternator and get it installed. What do you guys think of 70$ for the alt and around the same for the install?
