If anyone could answer quickly, because I want to do this tonight, and Chilton's manual doesn't picture the right lamp/instructions. Do I pry the whole unit out, or do I just take the clear plastic part out? And if anyone knows the type of bulbs, that would be useful also.

just clear plastic, use screw driver n put in tabs..n push..
On mine, I take the plastic cover off. I cover the flat head end of a screwdriver with a thin cloth and then pop that piece out. Not sure on the bulb though...I can't remember the bulb off the top of my head. Oh yeah, my car doesn't have a sunroof. I'm pretty sure cars with sunroofs are different.

Yeah, I don't have a sunroof either. I got it out, and it says "A1" on the bulb...but I'll take it to the store and see what they have that looks like it.
its a small wedge bulb, same one as in the side marker lights.
