Would like to drive it about 3 months while I build my spare 7afe. Will it make it? frown.gif Looks like copper or brass.

If there aren't any noises I'd say proceed with driving. Who knows how long those have been at the bottom of the pan. If you've never dropped the pan in the past those could be from 5,000 or 50,000 miles ago.

if it aint knocking, dont worry about it. if it is knocking, still dont worry about it, just keep oil in it, till it really gets bad. i've heard cars that knocked like crazy go thousands of miles without issue, other than burning some oil, and i've seen cars that started knocking, and 3 seconds later spit a rod out the side of the block..lol just luck of the draw i guess.
if you know your gonna have a spare ready soon, i'd definetly not hesitate to continue to drive it.

If you try and race with spun bearings they eventually flatten and weld themselves to the crank. The heat causes the rods to expand and get wedged in the crank sides and eventually shut the car off just from the resistance as soon as you push the clutch in.

But yeah... drive and just prepare to fix it.
