So I recently decided to take my 99 Celica GT and stick with it instead of getting a Scion FR-S, it was a hard decision since I love the look of both cars, but I have decided with the 25~ grand it would cost me for it I could make one sick puppy of a Celica. Starting this thread and will update with progress of everything I do as I do it. Engine swap won't be till probably spring of next year, but all of the little stuff I should be doing month by month each time I get my commission check. Since my first commission check is coming here in a little over a week, I figure I'll post a pic and get the before and afterness of my baby started.



I purchased my 99 Celica GT on March 26th of this year. So far the only thing I've done is wash the car and pay someone to rip out all the old speaker wiring and redo since none of it worked and was one hell of a hack job I didn't want to even bother with.

Things to do within the next 3-4 months.

Tires/Wheels (tires are bald and wheels are rusted)
Sound System (only have one working speaker)
Cold Air Intake (current intake is held together with ducktape, yes ducktape )
Interior Carpets (holes in the driver side)
Interior Seat Covers (torn leather on drivers seat)

other many many mechcanical stuff

Long term plans

Convert to awd by 2015 if not sooner.

Just a update ordered my intake, I got a Weapon R Dragon Inake (since I'll be doing a 3sgte swap) for now and also ordered my tires/wheels, will have pictures up of both of them this thursday. Also ordered a new antenna assembly since the antenna was broke.
