we would love to have ya on man! just a matter of working out the timing. if we can do it with rusty, we can do it with you, too!
I'll PM you later in the week to set it up.

For you guys with Iphones, we are now up on Itunes! just search for www.6gc and you'll be able to download all the episodes. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!!!!!!
we need to develop a following on itunes, its what will lead to the future of the podcast. sponsers, ect all look for itunes traffic to see how we are doing and if they want to sponser us, so DOOO ITTTT. lol

again, thanks so much to daniel (richee3), and russell (rusty) for coming on the show last night, it was alot of fun to have you guys on, and especially so for rusty, our first international guest!

we're trying to work on getting guests to sound as clear as we do, it takes a bit of trial and error because we do not have any fancy equipment, and we're learning as we go, so if you guys have any suggestions, please feel free to post about them! we want you guys involved!!!

Try Googlevoice!
https://www.google.com/voice

Its like skype where you can create a phone number and make phone calls through your computer, but the google one is free. So your podcasting software should be able to pick it up as clearly as it picks you guys up since both the phone call and you guys are going to be going through the computer.

Keep in mind I havent actually done this, but "in theory" it should work.

Dibs on next podcast fosho!

Just listened to the first 3 podcasts (from iTunes - subscribed!!!) - you have certainly improved very much in a short period of time! (Reduced alcohol consumption may have helped tongue.gif).

If you ever want any details of Australian delivered Celicas, I'm up for it smile.gif

SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR ----->See it here on 6GC!2013 October Celica of the Month XDNow: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 ----->See it here in off topic!

I've just finished listening to the rest of them.... sooo much 6GC bromance going on tongue.gif

The quality of the recordings have improved enormously. The later phone connections worked much better, my only suggestion would be to try to level the audio a little bit better (I noticed it was being changed a few times with Richee3) so that when we turn it up we don't get deafened when Manny shouts something out tongue.gif

I installed it on my computer, art, but couldnt get it to work right.
we're still trying things, i think that last call with rusty sounded great compared to all the rest of them before that, and that was just using dustins phone on speaker, recorded into the computer with a playstation 3 usb cam/mic.
we'll continue to try new things as we go along till we can get some "real" equipment wink.gif

Jeff, thats exactly the kind of reason I wanted to start doing the podcast to begin with. Its a way to inspire everyone to get out there and have fun with they're celicas, and hey, if we can pass along some info that helps someone out in the process, great!
we need to get YOU on the show, man.... its been far too long since JDM Guy was in effect..lol THAT would be a great story for the show!

josh, thanks for the kind words, and the sub on Itunes. we're gonna continue to fine tune things over the next few episodes, and hopfully keep improving the quality of both the sound, and the content.
smile.gif

For everyone with an Iphone or whatever, please subscribe to and rate the show on Itunes, it'll really help us out once we get to the point where we have to pay for the show.
Being able to show a potential sponsor or whatever that we have an audience will be important here down the road, so if you guys are enjoing the show, please do it!

so, we did a few more episodes last night, and had a great time, dispite some technical difficulties..lol

first off, i realllly want to apologize to art (lagos). we had some problems with the software we use to record the show, and right in the middle of a great interview with him, the software crashed...and,...it happen twice, which REALLY sucked.
art is a great dude, with an amazing celica, and has a ton of great info to share, and i just couldnt get the goddamn thing to make it thru a whole 1/2hr without crashing.
we'll definetly put somthing together with him real soon for sure.

we also talked to ben (bsamps4) in episodes 6 and 6.5, he is a really cool guy, has an awesome build, and shared some good info with us, so check those out!

and finally this week, we once again talked with kurt95gt, and his very cool wifey extrodinare, elizabeth, about theyre v6 swapped celica, and the recent addition to the celica stable they have created!

Another good episode smile.gif

Given the age and price of the vehicles now it is a very popular option as a first car, and as such we have a growing community of noobs with cars that are getting older and more worn out every day tongue.gif So for a future episode it would be nice to brush over some of the little things we should be doing just as general maintenance on a GT / ST, when first picking up the car or when putting some extra miles on it; like fuel filters, timing belts, water pumps etc. and any tips and tricks you have come across (I know in a previous episode you shared your opinion on aftermarket fuel filters.... pity I only listened to it a week after I bought one tongue.gif).

Haha, I'd love to come on the show at some point, but I don't know jack about the maintenance stuff... I can do oil, filters and spark plugs but everything else is a big learning experience tongue.gif

That podcast is relevant to my interests. smile.gif I'm still upset by how quickly you can crank out a paint job compared to my 3 month ongoing ordeal... Oh well, at least it's finally getting painted.
