Hey, im still trying to figure out what radio to get, although it may sound stupid, that i dont want a satellite radio. I need a portable satellite sirius xm unit that i can hook up between cars and at home.

I have seen several on the market but i would like to see if any members have one.

I dont want to pay subscription for 3 cars, i dont drive them all the time... . I want to be able to dock in all three cars with one unit and at home with one single unit. Just wanted to see your opinions...

My friend has something similar in his truck it works good but we cut the power cord and spliced it into a power source so he didn't have to take up an outlet. The mounts are ok but sometimes they like to fall off the window. Also make sure you go into settings and disable the built in fm transmitter if it has one if you use an aux cable other wise it may cause interference with some other devices.

I bought two new units that were on sale. (about 50.00) I just activated one and used the other Dock and antenna for the second car.

I know they are XM. and I got them at best buy last Christmas. You just have to watch for deals. Sirius and XM trade on sales.
