I thought I would start a thread discussing small mods people have done to there Celicas for mine and other peoples interest as it may encourage them to do some. Personally I haven't done many small ones mostly replacing lights with blue LED's (Gauge, boot and numberplate) so im always interested to see what other small things can be done to improve and make your ride abit more unique.

Some small unique mods, that make your car look better, can be:
- painting something (exterior or interior), that's also a good way to find out that you suck at painting stuff and improve your skill
- textile refurbishment of some worn out interior part like shift boot, sun visors, headliner, arm rest.... hell, maybe even seats if you find out that you got the skill

- LED conversion (as you mentioned) - gauge cluster, heater control, clock, dome light...
Each of these mods can be done quite cheap, with no skill required if you got the right idea how and the will to do it. There's also a lot of information and tutorials on the web about these mods.
My '97 ST slow mod thread
do the basic bolt ons - intake, header, exhaust.
bolt on suspensions - front and rear strut bars
bolt on exterior - get a lip, get side skirts, get a spoiler, get a kit
interior - change bulbs to leds, change your cassette/cd player, shift boot, seat covers, floor mats, pedals etc.

My cheapest mod so far was to glue a JDM beer cap (Asahi) onto my cigarette lighter. I'll post a pic tonight.
