So this might be the wrong section and I apologize if it is, I figured ignition would follow with the engine. But ANYWAYS, my wife took my keys for something and lost them. I cannot move or start my celica now, any way I can remove the cylinder or start it without? I have to work tomorrow afternoon

You need the key to remove the cylinder, and without the key in the cylinder, it'll most likely lock the steering on you.

Take her car and make her pay for losing your keys wink.gif

Such a catch 22 ugh, she doesnt drive unfortunately. Um....can I go to a toyota place with my registration?
Toyota has given me a '96 Celica key based on my VIN before. It should work, hopefully!
Any Toyota dealer parts department can cut you a new key. Just bring in your registration and ID.

This is why you be like me and have 4 copies of your car keys. laugh.gif Yeah, since it has a locking steering wheel you're screwed.

Hot wire it! Lol. J/p. Yea Toyota should be able to get you a copy. After that. You should head straight to WalMart and make 2 more copies. Keep one in a safe along with the alarm key remote if you have one. Another spare on a key ring of spare keys. The last but not least, the one for the main driver. Which is you. smile.gif

And if for some reason you don't have your VIN or they can't pull up the 4 digit code for the key, it's also on the PASSENGER door key cylinder.
You'll have to remove it to see the code, but it's cut into the side or end of the cylinder.
I think I actually might have discovered a way to hotwire the car when I was doing bobby's swap, but the locking steering wheel would keep you from getting far!
