Another day, another broken part found - 6G Celicas Forums

So, I was taking pictures of the fuse boxes so that I could try to figure out how to wire them up to get DRLs going before I take my car into the Out of Province safety inspection, and I found the intake hose is now cracked right at the base. This is after I jimmy-rigged the actual intake a few days ago because the previous owner did not have it connected by a proper, tight connection, and let it sit there with no clamps.

Can someone please tell me what part this is called? I've highlighted in yellow the area which now has a crack, probably due to it's age, maybe due to myself when I was fixing and clamping the mushroom filter with the impromptu supplies I bought. Will this be a part I can locally buy from a Toyota dealership, or will I have to scour the interwebz and find someone who is specifically only selling this down-pipe?

Cheers folks!
Heavy black duty duct tape for the inspection then once it passes. Throw on a custom intake. Lol.

I realized that the silicon tube is the same as the metal intake tubes on aftermarket kits. I'm probably going to get it all fixed up in my own garage before I spend money on a day permit and get a failing mark. Looks like my new car gets to sit in my garage for longer thab I thought.

Any suggestions as to an intake kit? I know they're pretty sparse to find for such an old import car.
i had the same problem but i just ordered a new one from the dealership, heres the product number:
hose air cleaner 17881-74590
but an aftermarket kit will cost about the same i think
