I guess I have no choice lol. H20 fell through anyway. My buddy got pulled over and apparently his license is revoked? They followed him because his car used to be blue... it's white now and they gave him hell about it. Apparently you're suppose to notify the DMV of color change. (Had no idea) He also had no idea that his license was revoked. So they cuffed him and bent him over his trunk. Dude had a rough day yesterday. Then to top things off, his alternator **** the bed.

Trying to decide if I should replace my CV axle before the trip lol. I've been driving thousands of miles in the city on a torn boot, no noises yet... lol Should be okay for a 400 mile trip right?

Anyone traveling from my area that I could tag along with? I'll probably be bringing my gf, but it'd be cool if there were more than one Celica lol.

Also, any idea of lodging? Not doing 12 hours of driving in one day.

I have to ask about this (because I'm a fatty), but how are we approaching food? I know there was mention of burgs and dogs.

I'm willing to make something really awesome if others are willing to as well. I'll also bring some beverages (non-alcoholic of course).

As long as you guys dont mind sleeping on couches\floor I can host a handfull of people here.
I have 4 reclining chairs, and carpeted floors, so bring a pillow and a sleeping bag or whatever if ya dont wanna spend the $ on a hotel for the night.

The past couple years my boss @ maaco has been really cool, and "sponsored" the meet, giving me enough money to buy burgers and dogs for the meet, and I put up a maaco banner for him while we have the meet. I will talk to him tomorrow to make sure that he is gonna do it again this year, if not, in past years, we just asked people to donate a few $ per person to cover all the food, and people usually just bring drinks.
I have a nice grill that I will be bringing, so if anyone has anything special they want to bring to cook on the grill, feel free!
I usually try to get a case (40) burgers, and 3 or 4 16packs of hot dogs, and some chorico dogs (I know most of ya wont know what they are, but trust me, youll love em..lol) or italian sausages and just ask a few of you guys to grab a 12 pack or soda, or a case of water or somthing so if ya wanna bring somthing, water or soda or some kind of drinks are always a safe bet.
As far as booze, there are no alcoholic beverages allowed in the park, so we usually just wait till we are all together, then decide where we are going and what we are doing as far as the after party. Hell, thats usually an event in itself! Lmao

I'd normally be glad to borrow some real estate in someone's floor as opposed to paying for a hotel room, but I think we will be driving home at that point.

I'll also be heading home at that point too but I'm up for bringing drinks/sodas if anyone has specific requests.

4 more weeks!

Gonna be cutting it close on the 1MZ install, may need some extra firepower the weekend before (coughDustin/Stefcough) to get this bitch dropped in and tearing up asphalt.

I am bound and determined to have the FIRST 1MZ Celica in New England at this meet. Parts keep showing up, but I'm waiting on a gasket kit, which means I can do literally nothing until that moseys in.

I may end up stripping the engine down and dropping the block in this weekend. That I can reseal (I already have the oilpan gasket for some reason). I just don't like doing 1MZ beltsin the car as they're a royal bitch.
