ive looked and found that some 4a or 4agze pistons will work, or with modification.. well does anyone have 1st hand experience on which one fits and what special you need to do to make them work. i would rather buy these than pay for customs.
Ask Doggy. The GZE pistons are what you want. they are made stronger than the 7a pieces. A machine shop can fit them to the 7a rods. I know this isn't what you were looking for, but it's a start;)
If this is going to cost a lot, you can get custom pistons from Arias. They're pretty reasonably priced from what I've heard.
I got GZE pistons for 120$ shipped from Ebay. Only difference detween 7A and gze pistons are that the wrist pins in GZE pistons is locked and the 7A is presured. Everything else is the same. So with little modification, you will have 8.9 instead of 9.5 compresion ratio. And as long as i know the 4A-GZE pistons are semi-forged, with ceramic coating on top.

And about arias pistons, check www.club4ag.com there is some guys selling them for somthing like 350$.

Good luck >smile.gif>

if the block is scratched a bit,and needs to be bored out a tad to remove the scratches, can you get thicker rings, or do you need larger pistons.

Has anybody done this yet? Also, I think I read that Zipstrips bought some GZE pistons from toyota: what GZE are they from, and do you have the part numbers? >smile.gif>

Thanks
