Can some one help me on this one.

I have got some new Speedo gauge panels from www.visual-performance.co.uk and to wire them up you need to locate the Live Electrical Wire for the Instrument lights (Red Wire) and also need to locate a earth or netrual connection (Black Wire)

I have taken a picture of the guage panel if some could point out the correct wires.

Gosh, I forgot which one was it and I took my gauges out the other day.
But it's easy, turn your parking lights on so the speedo lights up and start disconnecting the plugs. Start with the one that is on the left, then the blue one(as seen on the picture). Then after you figure out which one it is, take a multimeter and touch one of the leads to ground(you took the gauges out, behind them are reinforcing bars that should have ground. Then start checking each pin for the 12V.

They are very bright

My concern is seeing that centre needle though - do you have a blown LED behind it?

There is a brightness control so It's not a problem.. The needle is still using the standard bulb that came with the car and not LED.. Might upgrade that but it isn't really a problem. I can see it fine when driving..

Turned out pretty good.
You can add red LEDs under the needles to distinguish them from the rest, because now the kinda blend in.

Silly question, but as it is hard to tell from the photo, which wires did they end up being? Green for power and white for ground?

Green (far right) is the Live wire

Brown / White is the earth wire..

Cool, thanks! And these go on/off along with the headlights I'm assuming?

Correct.. The wire cut in to is connected to the headlight switch.

You getting any buzzing from the transistor? I took my glo-gauges back out coz of it but my wiring was a temp-job to see how they looked (i grounded at the kick panel and took the live from the rear light fuse, also looped the on/off control so they only came on with the low/high beam)

I couldn't work out if the buzzing was normal or not so just left them out...

I also got a buzzing.. Nothing to worry about, Had the dials in and no problem.

When you have put the transistor in the dash and rebuilt the dash you don't hear any buzzing..
