Hi. I have the pain in the ass clunk in the rear of the car.Have replaced endlinks, struts and swaybar bushes. Today Im pretty sure I have traced the noise to rear top mounts. Im after opinions on a reliable, replacement brand. Been looking at KYB, Moog, and Rocca. Anyone have any recommendations ? Thanks You.

KYB or Moog sinice you're in NZ. Would've recommended Monroe too, since that's what I use.

Most likely the strut mounts. Go with KYB

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I did test all rear arms as suggested a few weeks ago. Couldn't replicate the sound. Then removed rear seat and got a workmate to sit in the back will I went slowly over some bumps at work. We located the noise to right rear top mount. You could actually see it knock and feel the knock with your hand on the top mount. Thanks again.
is your top mounts just loose?

That's what I kept thinking. I tightened the top shock bolt as tight as it will go when I replaced the struts. Did it out of the car with the spring compressed, then have checked twice when installed in car. Couldn't move the nut anymore. Have checked the 6 top mount nuts twice when installed in the car sitting on the ground.
dont buy moog rear mounts. they will clunk just as bad as the worn out oem ones within a few months.
