Do all 6g celica parts match??? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #90407 6 posts Started by Mrammin08
So I'm looking to swap out the front struts that are currently in my 95 celica ST the car has 220k and am just going to get used parts but I was just wondering if I had to go specifically 95 or is 6g broad enough. When I swapped the rear I found a 95 st that I took them off of but I'm having a hard time finding a 95

Any tips would be appreciated! New at this know very little about this stuff!
you can get them off celica st 94-98 judging from our parts catalog.
Only weirdness is that some cars came with the 'Sport" suspension. There will be a nut on the top of the strut body under the dust boot. They interchange and if you want can change out the oil and rebuild them to your taste... but they are old tech.

Well I'm not interested in putting too much money into it I've dropped enough and the frame is starting to rot just need the thing to hold up through the winter

I just did the struts on my GF car a while back. the fronts are an insert, I had to take apart the strut and install the insert. we used KYB GR2 parts.
