The carlisle car show is being held in Harrisburg, Pa this year. It is may 15-16. I am already going. We could meet up the day before the show (friday). Last year at carlisle was awesome for anybody that didnt go!! >biggrin.gif>

well so far its looking like it will be philly for now
So i'm going to ask anyone from philly to let me know a good place since i don't know my way around that city.. Placese we can meet, eat, drive around, and places were those that want to stay over night can go

How far is Harrisburg from Philly, i'd stay over and go to the show the next day.

Im down for meeting at the show but due to all the problems getting there from hotels the past years I dont thing the night before will be cool......Unless we hit the bars.

Heres another concern, D&Bs sounds really cool and all (theres on in the Palisades Mall) but Im not sure how many people are at least 21...I am 21 and my g/f is 21 and that shouldnt be a problem, whose sub 21?

I dont think Harrisburg is to much farther then Philly. I already have a hotel room and i know there are still rooms available.

i really want to do this in the summer.. so lets start talking about dates and location..

im in DC metro area, so i will drive to Ocean City or something but not up for driving to NY. Penn, is still a good 3 hours, so maybe

I think HIN in philly would be a great place to have the meet ............. if not maybe we could all hook up at one of the shows in englishtown, NJ.
Alot of nice events coming up this year

Heres my reservation about doing it during HIN, EVERYBODY will bring cars, that means racing, and idiots on the road, and ppl who are jealous and key cars...IDK if i wanna subject my basically new car to that.

NJ is far for ppl on the other side of PA.

i think the best thing to do is try to find a place in the center of the majority of the people that are going to show up... most people say philly but then people futher up north might not want to drive down that far.


so here is the list of people willing to show up so far

I'll drive anywhere ....... I was just thinking HIN would give everyone something to do while we all met up ........ cause you can only look at each others cars for so long and then everyone starts looking at each other like..... now what ?

what about Sussex County NJ ? Or upstate NY Sullivan or Orange county ? Somewhere in PA right over the border somewhere ..........

I dont know I'll just keep flipping ideas

well i know jeff and me will drive anywere... and i think the HIN nights thing might be a good idea... cause we could all me up in one spot then drive down together.... and since it's HIN is at Night we can meet up early in the after noon and hang out chill, eat......

What about at the Carlisle show? Its in Harrisburg, PA this year which is more towards the center of PA, and is a 2 day event. Its always a good time, and would probably be better than HIN because its a little longer and maybe even bigger (I've never been to HIN, but Carlisle is huge). Check it out everyone...

Hot Import Nights is the biggest show u'll ever see.

I dont kno much bout Carlisle but HIN is where EVERYONE is. Superstreet mag, Turbo, Sport Compact Car. All of them will be covering the show. Not to mention sponsored cars, and the models.

I went to the on in NJ couples years back, stayed in the hotel and got drunk, then went to the show. I tried taking pics of the cars, didnt work.

Oh yeah i cut a line of about 100ppl waiting to get an autograph from the MA Audio model. Oops.

i also know that the hot import nights in PA after 9 or 10 pm turns into a club and all the models get down and they have DJ's and shlt too...i think philly would be a great idea...theres tons to do...south street...different places to eat...dave and busters...bunch of places to cruise...HIN...and quite a few people from the site are from philly and just outside of it
and yea i think the HIN in NJ was the better one in the past few years, this last one sucked the one in atl. city was good too

I went to carlsile last year and it was awesome. There are magazines covering that show too.

I know HIN is pretty crazy, im worried about idiots messing around with cars in the lot, whats the Carlisle shows atmosphere like?

Carlisle's atmosphere was crazy after the show at the hotels. I knew a lot people down there with very nice cars and nobody had any problems with other people messing up their cars. Carlisle this year is at the PA Farm show bulilding which is on 26 acres. My vote would be towards carlisle since i am already going. Go to the web site and check it out!!
