clutch stuck to ground - 6G Celicas Forums

I have replaced the master and slave cylinder, think it might be that return spring, blue one under the dash, is this common? cant figure it out. smile.gif

It's possible that the new master cylinder is bad, I've heard of this happening with aftermarket vendors. The slave seems to be less prone to issues.

did you prime the master and slave cylinders before installation?

That. Though if you read the instructions that came with the master and slave it would've told you to do such.

you gotta bench bleed the master before installing the master. The slave has a better chance of surviving of course. if you dont bench bleed its a gamble to determine whether you are going to wear out your new master or not especially when using the manual pump method. bench bleed it prior and using a vacuum kit is the ideal way, but if you did it right, you should have gotten it with the pump method. Sumthing in your clutch pedal assembly can also be bad
