>you wont be able to physically notice a 5-15 hp gain

mostly it would be all mental.

as stated prior, lowering a car, throwing on an exhaust and all that would probably give you the perception of a gain in speed when in actuality you havent gained much at all.

Hmm.. looks like I'm going to have to do some engine mods. For now i guess i'm just going to get SAFC2,Cold Air Intake (K&N), and JDM Extractor Headers. What would be the best air intake system to install?

Custom CAI or just use the stock airbox with a TRD filter or K&N drop in filter.

There is no real way to gain power with the 5s. I had a Weapon-R Dragon intake and an e-bay header on mine and while that made is sound a lot better than stock it didn't do much for performance.

If you're looking for SPEED (vs specifically horsepower), your cheapest route is free but depends on how far you want to take it. Lose weight (spare tire, jack, repair tools, rear seats, etc.

Your rims look very nice but if they're larger than the stock alloy 15's they're probably adding about 20 pounds of unsprung weight to the car, which is about 2-3 tenths when you're looking at a 0-60 time.
