I'd like to replace the speakers in my daughter's 99 convertible for her birthday.

Does anyone know the sizes of the 8 speaker system? Everything I seem to look up shows 6 speakers for that car.

Is it 2 tweeters, 2 - 4", 2 - 6" and 2 - 8"?

Is there anything I need to know before I buy replacements?

Mounting the 4" in the door is a pain as the mounting bracket is a part of the speaker. If i recall, a lot of people just cut out the stock speaker and put the new one in it's place. Not ideal but works.

The rears are 6 1/2" yes and the bottom front speakers are 8" but 8" non-sub woofers aren't overly common.
