Say I put in a 7th Gen steering wheel in my 6th Gen, I lose my cruise control is it possible to have it work off three buttons?

Why would you be losing cruise control? I've seen 7gc steering wheels in 6gc's and the cruise control is still intact and working...

Afaik You have two options.
1. Install 6gc buttons into 7gc wheel
2. Modify 7gc wheel buttons to work with 6gc CC
