2.0 Turbo parts on Rockauto.com - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #91452 8 posts Started by VavAlephVav
I've been looking at the catalogue for Rockauto.com for my 1994 at least every other day for a while now, and suddenly today when I go to
Toyota>1994>Celica> I find that there are now four motors available instead of just two. It now lists 1.6L, 1.8L, 2.0L turbo, and 2.2L.

1.6L? You sure you're not looking at the '93? I only see the 1.8 and 2.2 for the '94

It's true!
Nice to have another source in North America to order parts from.

*edit - I looked through some parts, and there seems to be a mix of parts for the 3SGTE and non-3SGTE. For example, the rotors listed are smaller in diameter than the OEM (269/275/288mm vs 315mm). Other parts are for the 115kw engine and such. I'm sure some parts may be interchangeable, but some people might buy stuff through the 2.0L Turbo section, only to receive a non-compatible part.

I think there're more little clickable flags up at the top for EU market, Canadian, Italian. select all of them.
I bet they just launched it and will be glitchy at first.

In business since 1999 and a good parts resource, but cross-checking part numbers or sizing is recommended. I think the turbo items are just partially mislisted, perhaps they updated the system today. I ordered a set of ST front brake pads and was sent a set for the GT, so their inventory is not 100%.

'97 ST\ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+[sold 10/18]'93 MX-5LE
I checked on this when you originally posted it, but when I checked yesterday the 2.0l option was not there for any of the 94-99 Celica's.
ya i've been buying stuff from rockauto for my jeep fo years, but in the time ive had my celica i'd only seen the 1.8 and 2.2 listed. i suddenly noticed the extra little flags at the top which turned on the canadian, austailian, euro, japanese cars.
I had read about other people having problems finding parts, so i figured I wasnt the only one who hadnt noticed. /shrug
for now i just have a 5s-fe anyway, once i finish my engineering degree i'll start looking to spend money on a Beams. ya biggrin.gif

also the other day I ordered a moog tie-rod outer, I bought the more expensive moog option, yet when I got it it was a non-greasable tie-rod made in japan.
I was hoping for american tierods just to **** with my dad.
also got some kyb strut mounts - made in india
