Clutch Pedal stuck to floor - Master or Slave? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #91595 5 posts Started by k-weaver
Hey guys,

So about 2 months ago my pedal started sticking to the floor. Figured the simple fix was to swap the slave so I hit autozone and picked up a new slave for like 9 bucks or something. Drained all the fluid and started fresh, bled the system and all was well.

Fast forward to today, issue is happening again. Since I got a cheesy one from autozone i'm debating on getting another slave cylinder from a more reputable company and see if that fixes the issue. I'm just not sure if I should head down this road again or just go for a master cylinder. Let me know what you guys think.

Don't think it matters but in case it does...I'm running an Exedy OE clutch/pressure plate and a Fidanza flywheel.
chances are its your master. and buy oem, and save you headaches. Enderswift had same issues.

toyota has a rebuild kit. its much cheaper than an entire new master cylinder

Thanks for the help guys. I'm glad there is a rebuild kit, i'd much rather take that route.
