WTB s54 transmission - 6G Celicas Forums

Hello 6gc. I'm looking for a good s54 transmission to use for my LSD upgrade. I'm hoping to find one with less than 150k and in generally good condition. Newer than 1995 is a plus.

Only smooth shifters please!

Might be able to let mine go at some point luke. gotta get the e153 in one piece first frown.gif

Dan, so true haha. I've had so many I can pretty much plot out the case casting evolution of the s54 from '94-'99. Hopefully my next one will be my last

Yes. I do. Around 80k miles. Shifted perfectly the little bit I used it. The previous owner attested to the "smooth as butter" feel also. It's sitting in my yard on a pallet under a tarp. Waiting for someone to love it again. I thought I'd need it for mine, but I got mine sorted all out.

Still looking for trans, I got my stock that came out of my '94 GT 5s, think I have both axles and both shift cables other parts I used for my swap.
Im in Chicago IL area, if you want it make me an offer and come get her. I cant say how it ran cause I had rod through block when I got car, but last owner said car ran fine till he blew up motor. I still have contact with previous owner.
