This is where Stacy and I are going to be that weekend.
Gingerman Raceway is 2 hours from Chicago
Daniel: Its 6 hours from you.
Dustin/Stef/Manny/Jenn: Its 14 hours from Fall River.
Noberto: I have no clue where you live, and Tennessee is a big state.... lol

you know I have driven to Chicago before (actually I was on my way to Detroit), but for about $120 in gas each way and then having to get room for the night I think If I come up with $300 I'll be spending it on Struts.

I would assume things are still on for the 17th, it seems to be a date that a decent amount of us can attend. The question is are we going to have a second meet a couple weeks later to accommodate those who weren't able to make the first one, and it's location. Which I think it would be nice to do (also having a summer meet in august or so). If there is two spring meets, I'll be in for both as long as it's at the spot, the michigan trip might not happen for me.

Yeah, I wouldn't me down for the Michigan trip... But I'd be down for this meet and a Fall meet.

I'm still down for May 17th as well, but also up in the air about the Michigan thing. If I go it would be a spur of the moment kind of thing, except it looks like you have to register ahead of time/not guaranteed entry at the time of even if not registered.

Let's make the meet officially May 17th. Locked in. It's about 8 weeks out so we need to set a date so everyone can make arrangements.
As for a potential second meet, who would be in for that? If we can't set something up we can meet at Gridlife but I think I'd prefer an actual Celica meet, since Manny and Dustin are considering driving from Rhode Island. If a good size group from the Midwest Meet can't make it, it may be beneficial to those guys to move it a couple of hours East. On the one hand, I'm sure they'd appreciate a shorter drive but on the other hand, I hate to have it in the middle of nowhere so they drive 13 or 14 hours and have nothing to do besides look at Celicas, so keeping it at Starved Rock may be best if a lot of you guys can make it. So far I only know that Manny, Dustin, and Noberto can make the 31st.
