Headlight adjustments how to do it? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #91703 5 posts Started by onnaj
My car failed the yearly test due to the headlight aimed to low to the ground. I found one big screw to adjust them but they do about nothing, are there other ways to adjust the hight of the lights (except from inside the car wink.gif)

Thanks!

Are there more screws then the big one to adjust the height? Cause that one does nothing so i'm afraid the adjustment of the headlicht is broke frown.gif

There are two screws on each housing- one adjusts left and right, and one adjusts up and down. I think it might be lower down on the housing.

like richee said there are two adjusting screws for each light, take an 8mm with a ratchet and work it. they make really small movements even when working right.
also if you look closely at the light there are little windows that have a bubble level inside of them. figure out which adjusting screw does up and down, then adjust it till you can see the bubble in the middle.
then check the left-right aim by looking at it up against the garage or wall or something at night.
