ok, dfirst off, what the title said, im not sure if this should be under engines an performance, or what not..but with any one that burns or leaks, ok, well really just has to keep adding oil every so offten, has any one firgured out why you have to?? or fixed it or had it looked at?, cause Im thinking my is burnnig it off pretty bad or somthin, cause i cant see any leaks, and i sure as hell dont wanna have to rebuild, but im haveing the guy i got it form look at it?..just any thoughts before i head there..Thanks
Your gaskets might be going, and you could be burning it off, check ur tail pipe make sure no bluish/black smoke is coming outta it. You might wanna get under he car and take a real good look, sometimes the oil will puddle on the frame and when ur driving just get blown back so drips are tough to see.

Auto Zone and PepBoys might have a similar product.
just keep in mind that its normal for an engine to burn a some oil. excessive burng is something you should watch out for.

I have a oil leak. My engine has 175k miles. Should i rebuild?
wow thats a lot of miles, yay toyota!

i think it would be a waste of money to rebuild the engine at this point. you would probably get a lot more life out of your car if you just used that money to but a low milage 5sfe (or a 3sgte). >smile.gif>

I never really considered a swap before. But i might give it some thought. Thanx for the opinion.

I switched at ~100k.
I'm also running a thinner 5w30 Castrol Syntec(regular for the Celica is 10w30). It shouldn't hurt anything to switch(other than your wallet, it costs $10 for regular w/filter and about $30 for synthetic).
