Does anyone know if at all or to what extent this is legal anywhere, and especialy VA if you know. I can't find it on the dmv website or off google. I was wondering if we could just smoke the turn signal part, the whole thing, or at all? Also if it is just a safty issue so clean em off before inspections type thing... thanks guys.

The Way i feel on this is "F THE POLICE" If they have enough time to pull you over for your tail lights for being to dark....they are not doing there jobs busting real crimes. I have had my tail lights smoked for about 2 years now and have yet to have been pulled over...well for smoking tail lights at least. Now if u do get pulled over they give u a ticket for inspection...which simply means to change the darkness back to stock by a specifyed date....if u get the nite shade tail light tint spray like i used all u need is paint thinner to remove the tint...takes 3 minutes and a rag.

i havent had a problem..... yet ive benn passed by many police and have not been messed with and mine are practicly blacked out

Here's the thing in Va any modification to a Motor vehicle is illegal.
