recently i drove into a pothole, the size of a speed hump (somehow the speed hump that used to be there... went missing, no lie) and cracked/buckled my alloy. I have currently got my eye on a temporary set on eBay and was wondering if these specs/numbers are fine for the car. will they fit without rubbing/hitting arches? is it going to affect speedo? etc. (its the offset that gets me)

PCD: 5X100 (i know thats fine)

RIM: 7x17 H2

OFFSET: ET 45

CENTRE BORE: 75mm (will get spigot rings)

TYRES: 215/45/R17

Yeah, that's fine... exactly what I'm running (with the exception of the centre bore, which you have already accounted for). Quite sucked in, but drives just fine. Your speedo will run about 3% over so make sure you don't get any tickets, but again not a huge deal. You won't rub unless you space out (I put +25 on the back and needed to roll the guards).

They'll be pretty sunken in. Kind of like the gts rims. I'd recommend spacers for most 5x100 rims since they have ugly offsets.

perfect offset for our cars is 35 with 7 inch rims...

That's correct. I have 7" +45 offset wheels on my car with 15 mm spacers, so essentially +30. The front wheels are barely tucked but the rears could use a bit more spacing. I had to roll my rear fenders.

It depends... haha

for +10mm you would want slip-on ones. The annoying thing with slip on spacers though is that you need to install extended studs which can be a bit of a pain and certainly adds up the cost!

Hub-centric bolt on spacers are preferable IMO. However these are pretty much minimum 15mm, but commonly just the 20/25mm ish size. Problems with these are that if it is not big enough then the original studs poke through the spacer and if the wheels are multistud or don't have sufficient space between the studs then the wheel won't go on and you will need to cut down the original studs!

With those wheels though I would be going (Front/Rear) +10/15mm for a factory look (i.e. a bit sunk, but not too bad), 15/20mm for practical flush (this is what I plan eventually) or 20/25 for proper flush. This is TimmyFace's car lowered on BC coilovers with CSA 17x7 +45mm alloys with +20 on the front and +25mm bolt ons on the back;

Kind of true but not really. Installing the extended studs is easy but certainly not easier than bolt on because anything bolt on is easy. Lol. I used simple hand tools, a hammer to remove the old studs, a couple washers and over sized nuts, a 2x4, and a 21/19mm socket/ratchet. Cost wise. It's most likely $5-$15 more only but I'd say these are more safer than bolt ons because the more nuts you have. The more risk you have involved. In the end it's all your choice. I've ran on both extended and bolt and haven't had any problems. Both are Ichiba's too btw. Here's a vid below that shows you how I installed the extended studs.

The guy I was going to buy the alloys off decided to be a blue waffle n sold it to some1 else even though we had an agreement lol I bought sum 18" vw golf alloys instead. Rim size is 18x8j n currently running 225/40/r18. ET is 35 so hopefully eliminate the ghastly sunken look and the need for spacers etc lol in the process of carbon fibre vinyl wrapping them cuz the paint looked like sum1 went crazy with sum cheaply rattle can black lol (2 down 2 to go) hopefully comes out ok n covers most of the ugliness.
