Hi everyone, I'm new here on forum.
I have swapped out my old engine and I have put in a red top beams engine.
I tried starting it today but it didn't fire, and I saw a topic about connecting the red/black wire with the black at the EA1 plug. It worked and it started and died 2 sekunds after. First of I thought it was vacuum problem coursing it to die out, because if I gave it some revs I could keep it alive. By some reason I tried disconnect the airflow sensor, and now it runs "perfect" (Engine failure light on). I'm I missing a wire to connect or something, or is it a new air flow sensor?
It gets +B and earth, and I have tested the other 3 wires and it seems like they give some signal

We need a little more information from you. What intake are you using? Have you tried cleaning the MAF? Be sure to pull the codes to see what codes it's throwing. Then try resetting the ECU and plugging the MAF back in. Try keeping it running with the MAF plugged in until it's warmed up. Then try pulling codes again to see what you get.

Volt between EVG - VG when with ignition on II = 0,99V
Volt between EVG - VG when the engine is running = 0,99V-1,04V (Data 1.0V-1.5V)
I'm using a custom made intake, but I'm using the old part of the airbox with the sensor.
MAF=Airflow sensor?
It's not easy to keep the engine running with the airflow sensor plugged, but I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
How would you clean it?

If it's available near you. As long as the MAF (mass air flow sensor) is in the OEM MAF housing, you should be good. It's a very, very sensitive MAF that needs to be in that housing so it gets an accurate reading, otherwise the engine won't run properly, but it sounds like your setup should work. DO you have a picture of your intake setup?

I have been in all the car shops on my way and no one had that cleaner, can I use something else instead?

The o2 sensor is connected, I plugged the old one on the new wiring harness

ECU CODE : D16 (RED/BLACK) TO POSITION 1 ON THE PLUG (+B)
ECU CODE : B1(YELLOW/RED) TO POSITION 2 ON THE PLUG (EVG SENSOR)
ECU CODE : B11 (BLUE/BLACK) TO POSITION 3 ON THE PLUG (VG METER)
ECU CODE : B22 (YELLOW/BLACK) TO POSITION 4 ON THE PLUG (THA TEMP)
ECU CODE : B18 (BRAUN) TO POSITION 5 ON THE PLUG (EARTH)

I tried cleaning the MAF and it didn't help, not enough to feel any differens.
Shouldn't I just order a new one tomorrow?
