Good day forums!

Does anyone by chance have a 6th Gen "Zenki" model GT Four (a GT Four manufactured from February 1994 to November 1997), of which they have removed the front wheel bearings that they could take pictures of using a tape measurer so that I can get the measurements to order a front wheel bearing kit?

I do not have the tools readily available to remove my wheel bearings (slide hammer, time, etc..)

I am looking to order a genuine set from a site and they need the measurements...

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The bearings you are looking for are koyo bearings, part number: DAC3880W-1CS65. The equivalent Toyota part number is 04422-20090. I highly doubt you are going to be able to find an aftermarket set of these, even with measurements (OD is 80mm). I was only ever able to find the genuine Koyos.

Im not sure what it like over seas, but here in new zealand take that ebaring into any bearing shop and you'll get one. Koyo do them, skf, nachi, and nsk. If your here in NZ hit me up and i can get you one from work (:. Not very expensive.

So glad I seen this thread, Ive just ordered a new front bearing unaware there was differences. I went to fit it and noticed the new one measured 74.3mm whilst mine was 80mm OD.

Been panicing for 3days now trying to source one, atleast now im a step closer. If anybody is in the UK could point me in a direction would be a massive helping hand.

ah dang that means there is no replacement part here in the usa. it seems this bearing is used the same for ST202 superstrut knuckles as well. if you plug in part number on any search engine if gives you certain links. however this part is not even compatible with any other toyota vehicles??! if so one side for the bearing kit is $110, so thats $220 for just two front bearings. wow so much these are the dimensions:

Height 1: 36 mm
Height 2: 33 mm
Outer Diameter: 80 mm
Inner Diameter: 38 mm

If you can get measurements, go to a bearing manufacturer and see if they have anything that matches? Might be worth a shot, and probably 1/4 the price too.

The 6gc super strut bearing only applies to our cars...

The stated dimensions match what an st205 requires. There are multiple websites that sell these same exact febest bearings so I'm confident it's not a listing typo.

Also, its entirely possible Toyota used different wheel bearing part numbers between models. There may be tiny differences (such as race thickness, or number of actual ball bearings) that may warrant a new part number; but those kinds of differences don't matter as long as the physical dimensions of the overall bearing are the same. At least that's why I feel there are multiple compatible models are listed for this bearing.

Either way I certainly feel its worth checking out because buying the oem Koyos is an absolute pain.

ah yes now i see the dimensions. well to say they match into the corolla late 90's model is iffy. i know he's probably referring to the superstrut on the corolla but still. i hope this works out. as i might need one or two new bearings soon.

also i can't seem to find the thread created for the part number containing the KOYO Part number. when i google it. it led me to a chinese distributor for them and they listed they were same as ford focus and renault clio if i remember correctly.

I did a quick search, and found a part #T137052 for the front wheel bearings, although not an official part # that can be found on ToyoDiy.com. Maybe that can help?

The important dimensions including OD, ID, and height are identical between the bearings. The only difference is the way the inner race wraps over the front of the bearing. So as I suspected, Toyota used similar bearings for multiple AWD models and assigned different part numbers.
