Topic #92475 14 posts Started by ILoveMySilly97
Im trying to find a used header for my st204. Im willing to spend only $60 shipped for a used one since I'll need to purchase my own gaskets and its a used item.

Isn't too terribly much more for a new one off feeBay. redface.gif

Im disappointed i was thinking you were going for a turbo set up.
Nope. Change of heart. Decided to go for a mildly tuned 5sfe. Cams are expensive.....so I'm trying my best to cut the cost.

Correct me if im wrong but i thought that you didnt "need" nicer cams unless you were pushing high boost like 20 psi

The stock cams are lame in the 5sfe. With the 294 grind the power wont drop down like the stock cams. It'll keep going up until redline.

there's no such thing as "nice" cams. they only become more aggressive.
It helps the engine gain power whether boosted or n/a
Thanks everyone. I managed to find a new one with black header wrap for $85 shipped from smkrew
