FS: JDM Head Lights COMPLETE! MODS CLOSE! - 6G Celicas Forums

I'm doing a conversion so I won't be needing these parts. I will only ship the head lights. Fenders are Local pick up only. Also prices via PayPal are as gift. If you want to send the money as a buyer then there'll be additional charge to cover the PayPal Fee.

JDM hazy lights. The one that's hazy but has that accent light. All tabs are intact. The only thing missing is one of the accent plug is missing. I replaced it with a side marker plug. Only thing missing now is the male end but that's easy. You can just go to auto zone and get the male end wires and just crimp it in. $100 shipped for the set or part out at $50 for each light.

What do you mean by Hazy lights, are the lens foggy? Would they fit an 1996 USDM ST?

They're just the older model JDM headlights whereas the newer ones are the projectors.

hmmmm....never knew that. Enlighten me on this. I'd guess post face japanese got these and the face lift japanese got the projectors? All trims or just certain trims?

Do these need to be modified in some way for LHD use?

? Stock headlight assembly set up for all 4? Plug and play with orginal wiring for a 1995? Really looking for a complete set for my daughters ride.

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't even noticed you commented this but pm me if you're interested. These are bolt on so no mod needed besides if you want the accent light functioning then you'll have to wire that to the Parking Lights. PM me if interested.

I understand they are direct bolt on but I Think you may have misunderstood me. I meant do you have to change the angle of the light beam so it is not shining in peoples eyes? Don't you have to modify JDM projector for this reason? Would these be the same?

Wait I'm a little confused are these the same once that come stock on the st204 ?? What's different about them ?

hmm....im not sure about that but from my understanding. Only projectors had cutoffs. So these don't need modification.

These came standard on prefacelift jap models. These also came standard UK and aus iirc. The difference between these and the usdm/canada spec is that these have the accent lights that ours didn't have. They had it functioning as drl lights.

Did these came from a LHD or a RHD car? It's that simple to tell, if you need to adjust them, so you don't blind people.

If they are JDM, you won't be able to use them in North America without blinding oncoming traffic, as the glass lense have physical grooves etched in them to refract light towards the left hand side of the road. There is nothing you can do to modify these lights aside from transplanting USDM lenses onto the JDM housings in order to use them safely in N. America. Anywhere else in the world where you drive on the left side of the road though, and you're good. Sorry if this is a deterrent to your sale, but I'd rather people be making safe purchases for their Celicas.

(Also, not DOT approved, if that is of any relevance to someone's safety inspection, as it was to mine)
