Had a clock... but now its gone?? - 6G Celicas Forums

So, I know when I left work; the clock was working.

When I got home, the clock was shut off... what might cause this? The car was running fine.

... it was raining mind you, but what would need to get wet in order for just the clock to turn off??

Luckily, I have a spare clock to test with... I just have to run back down to the parkade to test it, I'll also check the fuses while I'm there... but its a bizarre issue, no?

Could it be as simple as just the backlight dieing? Or connection rattling loose?

I wish. Tested with the spare clock and still nothing. I think something got wet in the rain today that shouldn't have been wet. I haven't reinstalled my wheel well inner plastics yet so some of the wires are exposed behind the steering wheel running through the fender. kindasad.gif

Last time I had this issue happen it was due to the fuse for it blowing, the cig lighter being the culprit. Have you looked at your fuses and seen if any are blown?

1997 ST:Limitedly GreenThis car is not about racing... This car is not about power or performance... It's purely about being cool.
You blew the fuse for your cig lighter this can happen if you drop like a coin or something in the outlet has happened to me alot i belive a small 20 amp fuse
