Hey all so im wondering what all my options are for a ems. Im not turboing yet, but i can get a few more horses with a decent tune. Are the ems specific to engines or not? If so what are some decent ones. Thanks
You can get a Power Enterprise CAMCON controller for it. Its essentially a piggyback that has vvti tuning capabilities.
As for EMS youll have to dig around for one. Ive been in contact with ATS and am looking to help get the ball rolling on finishing up their EMS for the Beams.

>CAMCON CC-111 The CAMCON-T allows you to take unrestricted control of your VVT-i valve timing into your own hands. Along with this, the ability to control your A/F will allow you to more efficiently and precisely tune your vehicle giving you a higher level of performance and fuel economy.
TOYOTA VVT-i & VVTL-i The CAMCON-T controls the VVT-I timing +/- 20 degree in 15 different points of 500rpm increments within 2000rpm to 9000rpm Range.
A/F is controlled -10% to +20% in 17 different points of 500 rpm increments within the range of 1000rpm to 9000rpm. Easy Installation
Plug in remapped ecus such as Tom's, SARD, C-One, blitz, IMec off the top of my head. The company's play around with the ignition timing, fuel maps, remove the speed limiter (rather than moving it high) & the rev limiter. They use the factory ecu, to reprogram, & there are no additional ports to make changes down the road, unless you have a cable & the tuning software - Which will be very unlikely to get a hold of.

well Ill stand corrected. However i highly doubt the changes you make will stay. Just like why S-AFC wont work on 7th gen. Now it might work on a Blacktop or redtop.
Damn rusty, we r so limited =\ my cousin and i, found an apexi fc comp, for his celica gts 00 2zz brand new from a tuner shop that had it aside for a while, got it for 350$ usd some damn luck
Thats just the plug in (reflashed ecu's) off the top of my head, I'm sure there are a couple more, thats not including piggyback ecu's either that can work.
