You're voting doesn't work. Says there's nothing to vote against.
All you need is a yes / no answer for the poll. What you have are two different ones with nothing to vote against.

But to answer your poll, yes please do it.
K I fixed it. And thanks for the feedback. Going to trytto add as many pics and details as possible

Anything to get rid of the factory fishing pole antenna!

LOL, Riche I like that fishing pole antenna. mine does not work so I switched to eBay one and now very weak reception.
The 14" Toyota Solara antenna has good reception and isn't a lightning rod.

the other option that lots of people like is to buy the stubby one from a Honda S2000

The sharkfin antenna looks pretty good on our cars.

But I also like TRDGT4's rally style antenna.

I personally chose to have my antenna shaved and go with a window-mounted antenna. Reception stayed pretty good, and there's nothing seen from outside the car.

Edit- Didn't you already do the sharkfin antenna? I just realized I grabbed those pictures from one of your old threads.

Yeah that car was wrecked last October. It's the one I'm currently parting out. I'm about to install that Antenna on the replacement car.
I figured if there was enough interest I could do a write up of how I did it. It's actually quite easy I just didn't do all the right research ahead of time. If I had I would have chosen a different Antenna. I figured I would link to the style I bought (cheapo) route and what I should have gotten. The reception is pretty good but I'm sure with a better one it would be better.

You may as well not have any antenna at all, the reception is about the same. I notice very little to no signal loss with the 14" Solara antenna.

In my 94, I pushed it in while off, and unplugged it,. the reception didn't change at all,. I can still pick-up stations 65 miles away.

I'm thinking of the WRC style top mount on the project though, I love that look, and 99% of the time, I'm listening to iPod or Pandora, so who cares about radio reception.
I just replaced my old erection with a s2000 antenna. I don't care for reception. I carry my ipod with me all the time.
I really like the gt4 rally anttena !!! I guess that's what that lil hole is for at the top of the hatch wink.gif!!! I must get one !!!!
