Hello,

Has anyone ever replaced the original trunk supports on a 1997 convertible? The stock supports don't have clips so I am wondering if the existing support mounting bolts need to be removed and new ones installed?
The local auto supply store sold me a pair that appear correct in length but I cant figure out how to get the existing ones off of their mounting bolts.
